Two and a half weeks until I embark on a trip that I hope will enhance my life beyond what I had expected. I've had quite an adventure already getting everything organized for this trip. Mid-July, my passport was mailed to me and the visa was completed inside...with a picture of a girl who was definitely not me! Getting that fixed has been quite a hassle, but I am hoping to get it straightened out in the next few days. I just received an email with my address and host family's name so I will post those separately so you can't miss them. I hope everyone's summers were everything they had hoped they would be.

- If I had told myself I was going to attend the University of Arizona five years ago, I probably would not have believed it. My plans have undergone enormous changes, but with each of these changes I have been blessed far beyond what I could have imagined. This fall I have the privilege of studying abroad at the University of Alcalá in Spain. I hope that this blog will be filled with life-changing experiences. Enjoy!
